Day 6

"In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps." Proverbs 16:9

God is good!  This morning when we came to see Kim, the nurses were at the door, waiting to tell us Kim's good news!  Her breathing tubes were taken out and she was breathing on her own, with the help of a little oxygen.  She could finally talk, something that seemed forever to us. Again, much to be thankful for. Although very tired and groggy, she had lots to tell us.  She was on a beach in Hawaii, suntanning!  How her mind works under the drugs and medication.  We were also informed that her lungs seemed to be clearing well, from the pneumonia.

The doctors are very pleased with her progress.  She tires fast and needs lots of rest,  cutting our visits very short with her, only for about 10 minutes every 2 hours.  We love to be with her much more, but do realize the importance of rest for her healing.  Although, we have seen a lot of progress in the last few days, she still has a long way to go.

Please continue to pray for continued healing, patience and strength for Kim.

  4. We have been following along on the blog and are glad to read that Kim continues to make progress. We pray that you will be granted strength through His Word and Spirit. We also pray that the LORD will grant healing and bless the hands of the doctors. Our LORD is not limited in His power.
    Psalm 46: 1,2

God is our refuge and strength,
    an ever-present help in trouble.
    Therefore, we will not fear....
